Who?
An entrepreneurial and enthusiastic Managing Director who is passionate about delivering the best possible results at all times, whilst constantly striving to make improvements. Determined not to lose sight of my original vision, the enjoyment I get from running my businesses and leading my team. Life is short – have fun!
What?
In control of our operation, deciding our own direction and growth. Remaining selective about those we work with, ensuring maximum success for likeminded business owners. Aware that it’s not always perfect, but keen to rectify and keep learning.
When?
Live for the now, learn from the past and aim high for the future. I love what I do, I always have, and I will continue to inject as much energy into reaching my goals as possible.
How?
I don’t fear mistakes or the red lights we hit from time to time. I prefer it when all the lights are green, but I recognise that growing as a business owner and a person comes from overcoming challenges as well as achieving success.

Ensuring that the office functions like a well-oiled machine, Jacq has been an integral part of Dermapure since 2008 and is our longest-serving employee. Jacq oversees the day to day operations of the business, working closely with all departments and suppliers, she doesn’t miss a trick! It’s a good job she’s so organised as she keeps an impressive number of plates spinning at all times!
Jacq’s go to product is the DermaQuest Stem Cell 3D Tinted Moisturiser SPF 30 as it’s the perfect 3-in-1 anti-ageing sunscreen.
When she’s not working, Jacq is usually sunning herself somewhere hot or sipping on a glass of prosecco spending time with her family and friends.

What makes you perfect for your role at Dermapure?
I’m currently the National Sales & Training Manager but I have worked for Dermapure for many years in various roles. I believe this journey has provided me with great knowledge and understanding to support and grow our accounts and our own team.
What do you find most rewarding about your job?
I have no greater pleasure within my role than explaining the benefits of our products and sharing our amazing results. I also enjoy watching the success, growth and partnerships created with our accounts
What’s your favourite skincare product or treatment?
I am often asked this question due to my experience with our brands. I struggle to answer this every time I am asked, as so many of our products give the most amazing results and target each concern individually. My answer would change for each skin concern, however what I can say is that DermaQuest gives the most amazing results and changes peoples skin dramatically.
What do you love about working within the beauty and skincare sector?
There is no better feeling than when I see our clients’ skin change, improving their original concern. This is what drives me to do my job each day and ignites my passion for our brands.
What’s the best thing about being part of the Dermapure team?
I have always loved working at Dermapure and to have been given the opportunity to progress in various roles has been so rewarding. The company ethos is adopted by every member of the team, making it a positive and uplifting place to work.
How do you choose to relax after a busy day at work?
When I am not working my second passion is spending time with my horses.

What makes you perfect for your role at Dermapure?
I would say that it is because I always strive for customer satisfaction within my role. I believe I hold a strong sense of ethics as well as industry knowledge, good communication and many other important customer service skills and experience.
What do you find most rewarding about your job?
I find it most rewarding that together we inspire, grow and develop the skincare industry on a daily basis, keeping the customers as our priority in every department of the company.
What’s your favourite skincare product or treatment?
I personally love the DermaQuest Retexture Serum thanks to the anti-aging effects of the retinol and anti-acne properties of glycolic acid that also hydrate, brighten and renew my complexion.

I love working in the skincare sector as we all share the same vision and are dedicated to the mission.

Dermapure provides excellent products and services, and I am proud to be a part of such a successful team that is forward-thinking, supportive and realises that their customers and employees are their greatest assets.
How do you choose to relax after a busy day at work?
Spending time with my family helps me relax, as well as cooking and experimenting with different meals whilst listening to how everyone spent their day helps me stay motivated for my next one!

John Howard

What makes you perfect for your role at Dermapure?
I’m adaptable and able to prioritise between the warehouse and administration sides of my role. I have good attention to detail and am capable of taking an order from the initial customer contact right through to the despatch.
What do you find most rewarding about your job?
The knowledge that the orders I despatch daily will be in clinics across the country and being used in treatments.
What’s your favourite skincare product or treatment?
Essential Moisturizer, when I’m standing in the middle of a field at a summer festival it’s good to know my skin is being hydrated regardless of the weather!
What do you love about working within the beauty and skincare sector?
It’s fast paced and there’s never a dull moment, each day is completely different from the last.
What’s the best thing about being part of the Dermapure team?
It’s a collection of people that all share the same goal and are prepared to put in the work required to achieve those goals.
How do you choose to relax after a busy day at work?
I enjoy Football, NFL, reading and as much live music as possible.

Being part of a team can be very rewarding, working as part of multiple teams in the past has helped me develop and understand the importance of communication as I believe it strengthens and improves team productivity.

Being new to the industry I am just learning about all the product and treatment benefits, so ask me again in a year!

The beauty and skincare sector is a constantly growing and changing industry challenging our creativity as a marketing team to find new ways to reach our targets.
What’s the best thing about being part of the Dermapure team?
The best thing about being part of the Dermapure team is how enthusiastic everyone in the team is about our products and our brands, and there is a real sense of family with great communication across departments and teams.
How do you choose to relax after a busy day at work?
After a good day’s work, I enjoy spending time with my family, as well as drawing, sculpting and going on weekend road-trips.

I gain great job satisfaction through seeing my work go live and being received by consumers. The direct feedback I receive from our followers gives me a clear understanding of how successful the content is.

As someone in their early 20s I had not yet found a skincare routine that fitted all my needs, after combining Dermaclear and the Essentials collection I have finally achieved this.

After a busy day at work, I like to run or go to my gym in the evening to unwind and relax – it’s important to get the right balance in your day.

I love everything to do with beauty and skincare, which is why this is my perfect job! I also have a wealth of experience working in customer service and enjoy supporting customers wherever I can.

What makes you perfect for your role at Dermapure?
Firstly, I love talking to like-minded people, sharing knowledge and growing personally and professionally. I have been in the aesthetic industry for over 15 years and am passionate about brands that are based in science and results driven. So, this role is the perfect combination of both. It is easy to get excited and share the brands that Dermapure represent as I have seen what a difference they can make to the skins health from the inside and out! Not to mention how a business can grow when the clients see those results too.
What do you find most rewarding about your job?
Supporting new therapists and business to grow and develop themselves and their business. For me the most important message is how the client will respond to the products we offer. Ultimately it means I have a small part to play in not just one clinics clients journey, but a whole region’s. How amazing is that!!!
What’s your favourite skincare product or treatment?
This is very difficult to answer… I love whatever product is right or the skin I am looking at. I love how in aesthetics we are constantly working towards the healthiest, most radiant best version of our skin. This can only be achieved by working with great therapists who are constantly learning and great brands that are always looking for ways to improve. If you are looking for scienced based gentle exfoliation and strengthening, look no further than Priori. For advanced resurfacers and peels that achieve genuine results Dermaquest is the brand for me. But homecare is key, personally I love the Dermaquest Skinbrite Cleanser, Peptide line corrector and Sun Amour spf 5o… also don’t get me started on Hush and Hush…
What do you love about working within the beauty and skincare sector?
This industry is full of people who have a genuine care to deliver the best service possible, I count myself lucy to be a part of it.
I love the end results for the clients. This is achieved by working with opening minded people who are always looking for the best results. Also, its’ so fast pace! Ingredients, Delivery systems, Treatments, combination of all of the above are changing constantly. Just when you think you know it all a colleague, therapist or clinic owner will serve up another little gem that you can add into your general knowledge.
What’s the best thing about being part of the Dermapure team?
The people, closely followed by the brands. We are very fortunate to have a rare combination of a team who all support each other, share ideas, knowledge and are open minded to grow as a team. This in turn leads to us growing the businesses we support. That paired with brands we all believe in makes a unique environment where the only way is up! I love being part of such positivity.
How do you choose to relax after a busy day at work?
I have 2 lovely teenagers and a husband and great friends who keep me grounded. Also a passion for Karate for which I am working towards a black belt (never too old to learn). So Love, Drinks, chatter and the occasional kick in the solar plexus is my idea of a great week. 😊
